High Volume SEC Nights:

It was no secret that the biggest bet game of the week would be Alabma vs UGA. Luckily for the bookmakers, the line stayed pretty stable all week and was not bouncing around much. We were able to sit there on our UGA -1 line and bets came in equally on both sides. We ended up being even to the game and since the game was such high volume we made a good amount of cash in juice. This is the dream for the bookmarker, but does not always work out so well. What a game that was!!!!

One Way Games:

The Biggest one way game of the week for us was on Boston College vs WKU. This was due to the BC quarterback being announced out and us not reacting in the proper way. Sometimes bookmakers are not perfect, and we definitely screwed that game up. We gave away a lot of +10 when we thought the market had stabilized. Next thing the market goes all the way to 8 and it was clear we should have left it off the board. If you ever receive injury information like this, it can be very valuable to you in the betting market if maximized. Don’t you dare beat a line by 5 points and expect to keep playing at DK or FD, they will limit you, even if you had no idea the BC quarterback would be out. That’s why we market our sportsbook to bettors who have the intention to win, and winners are welcome.

Personal Thoughts and Injury Corner:

-Key Injuries CAM RISING- This team has absolutely nothing on offense without him. I also personally think the AZ Wildcats are a bit underrated in the market. If Cam Rising does not return soon, I would be expecting a lot of bettors to fade UTAH and bet the under.

-Look, I know MSU got bombed by OSU at home on Saturday night. I truly believe OSU is that loaded and MSU did not play as bad as the score indicated. They also get WR Nick Marsh back in the mix, who is a HUGE upgrade to the offense. I expect Sparty to be a frisky team all year long.

-Texas QB Controversy: Everyone knows the old saying……if you have 2 QBs you have none. This Texas team has to figure out how they are going to navigate this situation with Manning playing so well. It seems crazy the Heisman Front Runner could lose his job, but It would not shock me at this point. Either way, Texas has 2 fantastic QBs and it may come in handy later in the season.

And remember, you can follow us on X @BetAmapola for real time updates on where the big action is hitting us – as well as other nuggets of inside information. Until then, best of luck with all your gaming action!
